About Nicole
Nicole was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Nicole attended the University of Saskatchewan and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1998, with a major in Sociology. Prior to commencing her legal studies at the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan, Nicole attended the Program of Legal Studies for Native People through the Native Law Centre in the summer of 1998.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2001 from the University of Saskatchewan and returned to her home town of Prince Albert to complete her articles and practice law.
Nicole has been practicing in Prince Albert since her call to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2002.
Nicole serves clients in the Prince Albert and surrounding area and has appeared before all levels of Court in Saskatchewan: Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal.
Prior to opening up her own office, Nicole worked in a large firm and then a mid size firm, before deciding that she preferred the closer contact that a smaller office provided, when working with her clients and support staff.
Nicole is actively involved in her legal community and community at large. Nicole has been a volunteer with the Law Society of Saskatchewan by serving as a facilitator for televised seminars for over 15 years. Nicole was a Certified Development Volleyball Coach for girls’ volleyball and sits on the Board of Directors for the Prince Albert Volleyball Association. Nicole also sits on the Board of Directors for Prince Albert Food Bank.
Nicole has almost 20 years experience in Family Law, Municipal Law, Real Estate, Wills & Estates and Civil Litigation. Nicole is certified as both a Mediator and Arbitrator. She is recognized pursuant to section 44.01 under The Queen's Bench Act as a recognized family mediator and a family law arbitrator.
Nicole’s approach to law is based on ensuring her clients feel comfortable in relaying their issues to her, which are achieved by her down to earth approach and grounded values. Nicole provides honest advice, tailored to meet her clients’ needs in a timely fashion.
